Abstract: EOS Photonics, in collaboration with the group of Prof. Capasso at Harvard University, proposes to develop a novel widely tunable, high power quantum cascade laser source for remote sensing applications. The tuning mechanism relies on the integration of intersubband tuning elements fabricated monolithically with DBR gratings to ensure electrically-controlled wavelength tuning over a wide wavelength range and with excellent mode suppression ratio.
